Def order the Gricia, the pasta dish made in the parmesan wheel!

Had the pasta with seafood and was excellent. My partner had spaghetti Bolognese which he loved but I thought was just ok. Atmosphere is very nice and up to date, with lovely staff. Recommend!

One bathroom, so annoying. OK food, but no wait. OK pasta decent appetizers but kinna bad service (maybe it was just our luck though)

I took pasta with baby octopus, shrimps, mussels. It was delicious. And many thanks for tiramisu.

Made a reservation here for Christmas dinner about a month before. When we arrive we are told we may or may not have a table but that we can sit outside. In December. On Christmas. Yes, the restaurant is small but a reservation is a reservation. We took the table outside and ate under the heaters with all of our layers on. Not very relaxing. In terms of food, the bruschetta and wine were wonderful but the pasta was just so-so. Bolognese tasted like beef stew and carbonara was lacking flavor. Overall, it was an ok experience. With so many other Italian options in the neighborhood, I probably won’t be back to Acquolina. Disappointing holiday meal.

An amazing and authentic Italian restaurant. Place is lively with frequent customers and supported by a fast service. A top spot for someone willing to try Italian cuisine.

we ate outside because there weren't any seating inside for 4 people. it was busy on Saturday for 630pm dinner. the other corner pizza restaurants had longer waits. the pizza were on a thin crust and were topped well. and their pasta were very tasty.

Came upon this place on our last day of vacation and were pleasantly surprised. After being disappointed by other restaurants on our trip this one checked all the boxes. We were able to sit right down, the waiter really took care of us and our drinks were never empty. The focaccia bread was delicious and pizza was amazing. Only negative would be that my wife liked(but didn't love) the lasagna. But we both loved the pizza and focaccia bread with creamy, melted mozzarella cheese and some garlic oil on it. Highlight of our meals on vacation. Reasonably priced compared to other places. I give them 5 stars. I'd definitely go here again.

After a walk around the Coit tower area wound up here. I really love the atmosphere & happy people. I would defiantly return, food was delicious as well.

Nice Italian restaurant located in the Little Italy district of San Francisco. Modern rustic decor. The menu has all the standard fare - pizza, pasta etc. Definitely go the the gelato place a few doors up afterwards!

Lovely decor inside. Welcomed by staff and they were very polite. Had the tagliatelle Bolognese and it was DIVINE. Boyfriend said it was the best one he had ever eaten.

Authentic Italian food with the finest of wines. It did not take me long to revisit and I can see myself bringing friends here due to the great care they have for their customers

Nice corner spot with good service, good food and the prices are fair for being in the city

Nice pizzas. Staff is lovely and at your service. Great location and you don't need to wait 2h to get a table. The pasta looks amazing too !

The staff was very kind and the food tasted authentic and great!

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to! The staff was friendly and our waiter was extremely personable. Service was a bit slow but they were pretty busy. They forgot our second pizza, so the rest of my family finished eating before I even got to start, but the staff was very apologetic and the pizza ended up being worth the wait! This restaurant is worth coming back to San Francisco!

Fresh ingredients right from Italy. Great pizza and pasta as you would expect. The owner is a wonderful person and always makes you feel like you're part of the family. Highly recommend the Margherita pizza.

Felt like I was in Italy. Loved it! We sat at the bar and ate and were entertained and looked after by the barman. Wonderful array of wine. Good food.

Absolutely cracking pizza. As good, if not better than, the much more acclaimed Tony's Pizza which is across the road.

Very good pizza and gnocchi. Good service. And much less crowded than other restaurants around.

A great neighborhood Italian restaurant right in the heart of North Beach. Our large party each had something different and we were all pleased. Attentive service and friendly surroundings, you are going to be well cared for.

Our host Simone was so helpful and welcoming, the service he provided was +5-star. However, the food is a bit unbalanced in flavors, either too much salt or too much bacon... some other very small concerns are existent, but still, we felt so welcomed here, that a 4 star is well deserved.Thank you Simone!

Sitting outside on a beautiful late spring afternoon we had pizza that was delicious. We had the meat pizza that tasted like the meat of Rome. We had a couple Peroni's but my pint because of the slant of the table kept sliding if I let go of it. I didn't let go of it. Here is a view of the Saints Peter and Paul Church across the street.

Always good! Happy Thanksgiving

4 stars only because the music was incredibly loud and not suitable for the ambiance. Also, the service could have been better. The interaction was very minimal. Other than that, amazing pizza, lasagne and made very fast.

Delicious Italian fare in the Little Italy district of San Francisco. Great service and nice atmosphere as well. Afterwards we walked around and had gelato at a nearby delicatessen. Highly enjoyable evening.

Delicious, authentic italian food. (Right across from the busiest pizza place in town which comes with a 2hr wait). Lasagna was perfect, salads are fresh and the pizza was perfect! Nice outdoor seating with heating provided.
Lenara Kurbatova
The place has good food and desserts. I liked the view of Saints Peter and Paul Church.

All perfect. I really recommend this place!

Though a bit pricey for the soups and salads at $12 the food was very well prepared and the service good. We enjoyed the focaccia warm from the oven drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and fresh rosemary and wanted more but deferred for the pappardelle a great pasta dish cooked with wild bore and an excellent pizza margherita loaded with fresh basil and loved every bite. The tiramisu shared was a great way to finish the meal with strong coffee.

We loved the freshly made spaghetti and tomato sauce with the rosemary focaccia! Great friendly service and a view of park and the church from our table.

Best place to eat spaghetti!! I love the service and the food. Thank you for making such a great experience for me and my husband!

Solid food and solidly Italian service! Make of that what you will.. bonus point for being able to take large group reservations easily.

Came here for dinner earlier in the year and had a great time, wonderful food, great waiter, perfect. Came back for Thanksgiving with a group of 8. The owner greeted us, our table was ready and we had the best time. Excellent menu, wonderful Italian treatment of turkey, succulent and juicy. Prosecco, wines, all delicious. Service was superb. Come here and have a great meal and a good time.

Life-changing quality lasagna—and grana padano pasta, which was prepared in the dining room in front of us. We did not know food could be this good. Chef and staff are clearly passionate about sharing their food with customers (and for good reason!), and even stopped to have conversations with us. Though we didn’t order dessert, they gave us complimentary tiramisu with our check. As we left, the chef was regaling a large table with a story; this place makes you feel like family they are thrilled to be entertaining. I cannot praise it enough.

We had the burrata, the caprese salad and 2 different pizzas. The burrata was the highlight of the meal. The service was very kind and attentive.

Great place, nice staff, delicious pizza and wine!

Accomadating to large party with children. Pizza amazing. Pasta and bread hand made. Server Bonato expertly dealt with large party and picky requests from guests with sense of humor. Would highly recommend.
David Lackner
Very nice food and service. The food is reasonably price and delicious. The only issue was that they let in a lot of intoxicated Santas in during santacon that disrupted the other customers.
Jossie Rivera
Great service, food was delicious and wine was excellent. Salmon gnochi wad delicious.

Love Acquolina! Authentic Tuscan menu, friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure a great experience. On one the best corner locations in North Beach. Casual, inviting scene that makes you want to hang and enjoy. My favorite NB restaurant. Don't miss!
